Kimberly Dawn has spent more than six years of her life living on the road performing with Broadway national tours such as Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, A Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, Annie, and Joseph…Dreamcoat. She’s also appeared in four Broadway shows, Off-Broadway, and in various TV/film, opera, and dance productions that have taken her all over the world. In other words, she knows a thing or two about planes, trains, automobiles, destinations, and hotels.
Plus, she’s been in 46 of the 50 United States (can you guess which ones she has left to visit)? In addition to being a performer, she’s also a multi-published journalist and fitness professional who is excited that Independent Travel Agent is now added to her multi-hyphenate dossier. J. Elaine is a 10-time Broadway veteran and established actor in LA, who started her career touring with A Chorus Line where she met founding member, Kimberly Dawn. Being a triple threat (singer/dancer/actor) although she is not that threatening (she’s Canadian after all) has taken her around the globe to Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Asia. After 25+ year in the biz, J. Elaine has acquired many different skills and is used to wearing several hats.
So, becoming an Independent Travel Agent seemed like not only a logical choice, but also a passionate one that aligns with her life goals: to enjoy every moment to the fullest, to create happy memories and to always have fun! Laura has been a stage manager, traveler, and outdoor enthusiast most of her life so when the possibility of becoming a Travel Advisor presented itself, she couldn’t believe she hadn’t done it sooner! She loves road trips, has stayed in just about every type of lodging you can imagine, and knows where all the good breakfast places are! Laura has traveled all over the US with Broadway tours including Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (where she met Kimberly Dawn) and The Prom.
She has also traveled to Europe and Asia for work and personal adventure and is grateful to have met so many wonderful people from all over the world. She is thrilled to now be in a position to help others realize their travel dreams!

Sharon is a Broadway/Tour/Las Vegas stage manager, having worked on such shows as The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, Hairspray, and The Beatles Love by Cirque du Soleil. Her showbiz career has provided many opportunities to travel the country, and she has traveled the world extensively over the last decade for fun. Favorites: Disney theme parks (been to all 12 in the world), Royal Caribbean & Disney cruises. Favorite cities: Amsterdam, Sydney, Tokyo.
Experiences: Safari in South Africa, overwater bungalow in Bora Bora, 9-week trip around the world (17 countries & territories/28 cities), Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Bucket List: Antarctica (only continent she hasn’t visited). She’s excited to share her experience while helping you plan your next trip!

Candice Neu

Candice is an award-winning writer, director, and producer, and the Executive Director of the New Mexico Education Channel. In 2019, Candice debuted her first television series, Broadway Bound LIVE—a musical theatre competition show. She’s also a producer of the Emmy-nominated Bands of Enchantment and hosts her own talk show featuring artists called The Neu Agenda.
When not on set, she’s an avid scuba diver, kayaker, backpacker and hiker who is working up the stamina to hike Machu Picchu next. Candice loves to organize (and join!) group travel trips—especially for fellow creatives—and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to combine her work and play passions by joining the 5678andTravel team!
